Our Student and Young Member Associates are proud to announce our very first One To One event will take place on Saturday 26th June at 4pm.
Our first guest will be Louise Gregory, our newest committee member! Louise works internationally as a Production & Stage Manager, specializing in small- to mid-scale productions, dance and new writing , and unusual and community venues. Production Management credits include The Believers are But Brothers (Javaad Alipoor); salt., Race Cards and The Missy Elliott Project (Selina Thompson); The Department of Distractions and Partus (Third Angel); Buzzcut Festival 2021; Moving Parts: Newcastle Puppetry Festival; and Newcastle Fringe Festival 2021 (Alphabetti Theatre). She also works as a Lighting Designer: recent credits include The Disappearing Act (Open Sky); The Art of Cuddling and Other Things (CIRC Motif); Blokes, Fellas, Geezers (Jake Jarratt), Bodies of Water (Saffy Setohy). Louise is Lead Artist on NAVIGATE, a programme for early-career Scottish artists from a disadvantaged or marginalized background to develop Covid-safe performances, including across new digital formats. The event will be hosted on zoom and our Student and Young Member Associates will be interviewing Louise about how she started off in the industry, with the aim of giving other students and early career production managers an insight into different people’s career trajectories. There will be set questions asked but there will also be an opportunity to ask Louise specific questions directly during the event.
